LaF – New single Learning To Let Go

We were asked if we’d like to promote some music: of course we would! Here you go: Derby band LaF and their new single Learning to Let Go, plus a link to Neverland video.

LaF ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE RELEASE DATE

Derby band LaF launched their new single Learning to Let Go on October 1 which has been has been put together in conjunction with leading producer Gavin Monaghan.

Monaghan, who has previously worked with artists such as Grace Jones, Editors and Robert Plant, approached LaF in June with a view to them recording tracks in his Magic Garden Studio.

The result is Learning to Let Go, a song about reaching that stage in a relationship when you know that it is time to move on but are not sure how to do it.

Phil Matthews, who is on guitars, keyboards and percussion for LaF, said: “It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with a producer of the calibre of Gavin.

“We are all really pleased with the end result as it is great to hear how our original ideas were improved by a top producer.

“Even though we have all recorded before in studios of various levels, it was a real eye-opener to use the same facilities as performers like Robert Plant and Paulo Nutini.

“We recorded two tracks there and I think Gavin has added a real atmospheric feel to the second song, Pictures of Hiroshima.”

The single is available to buy as a download from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and CDbaby.com, and as a CD to purchase from the band by contacting them at lafpopmusic@googlemail.com.
